Description

This image arised as i waited for my main target this night to show up behind the roof of my house. I had about one hour and thought "lets see what i can achive in one hour while orion is in the sky!". I totally know that one hour is way too short for M 42 and that a HDR image is a must for this target and that a filter (like my IDAS NB2) would be way better, but well, after nearly 4 month of clouds i was so happy to see stars again that i didn't matter about all that things. In prepocessing i gave @David Payne & @Mike Cranfield  s script for stretching a try. You can obtain it here. It worked very well for this target, thanks @David Payne & @Mike Cranfield ! I must say, the result is really good. Besides that i once again noted that i really need a flattener for my RC. Autoguiding was not perfect due to windy conditions.
